Ulexite is a mineral occuring in round smooth crystalline masses. Ulexite is a structually complex mineral, containing traces of sodium, water and hydroxide octehedra. These are all connected through massive boron units.
Ulexite was named after the german scientist, G. L. Ulex who discovered it.
