Pyromorphite is a mineral that usually is found as colorless, green, or yellow. This mineral was usually mistaken for green lead ore and brown lead ore, and was first separated from the lead ores by a man named M. H. Kiaproth in 1784. This rock was named Pyromorphite by a man named J. F. L. Hausmann in 1813.
