The Burgos Member represents the upper part of the Aksitero Formation in the Central Luzon West Basin. It consists of interlayered limestone and indurated calcareous and tuffaceous sandstone, siltstone and mudstone. The 78-m thick Burgos member was dated Middle to Late Oligocene.
