The Atlantic Ocean is the second biggest ocean in the world today. It is home to many kinds of oceanic wildlife, it is also where most of the midwest of the United States gets their freshwater. It is composed of two different parts, the North atlantic ocean and the South atlantic ocean. It connects with the Arctic ocean, and touches many different continents and countries. It is also home of some very famous stories and myths, for example the Titanic and the Bermuda Triangle. The atlanic ocean has a maximum depth of 28,232 feet (-8,605 meters), and takes up an amazing 106,400,000 square kilometers of the Earth.
